The Ambulant Community Pantry The giving continue to spread from the community pantry in Maginhawa, Quezon City, which was initiated by Patricia Non, where it follows one rule "Magbigay ayon sa kakayahan, kumuha ayon sa pangangailangan" (Give what you can, take only what you need). When it started in April 2021, it inspires people to give donations to help fellow Filipinos in-need during lockdown brought about by the COVID-19, pandemic. From how it started, people have to line-up in areas where there are food donations. But some organizations innovate the act of giving by offering goods to every house using a cart. Many residences here in Barangay Daanghari in Navotas City which includes us received food supplies that contains 1kilo of rice, 2 noodles, three corns, papaya, 2 coffee sachets and a sardine. Prior to the giving of goods, one neighbor approached me and was told that when we receive it, we have to give back also. They suggested a can of sardines or anything. The purpose of this is to repeat also the cycle, so that they can give more. Learning from asking, the group behind the idea are from Sto. Niño church in Navotas under the project they called..."Tulay Ng Bayan Sa Kapwa." Let's replicate the act of kindness and start giving! #AmbulantCommunityPantry #TheActofGiving #CommunityPantry #TulayngBayansaKapwa #GiveWhatYouCanTakeOnlyWhatYouNeed (at Daanghari, Navotas City) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQApR-uhZ88/?utm_medium=tumblr
