Epidauria
~ Boedromion 17 ~
In the middle of Elesuinian Mysteries, Epidauria worships Askelpios commemorating his late arrivals to the Mysteries from Epidauria, the town with a sanctuary for Askelpios. This lead to rushed redone rites of the first four days for Askelpios. This day is usually spent inside, most likely remembering the Goddesses of the Mysteries. Being such, this day was slow compared to the first four days.
Epidauria involved a procession of women carrying offerings of and a banquet for Askelpios. Observances of this day became popular after a plague in Athens.
