October 20th, 2024, Inktober '24 Prompt # 20 - Uncharted. So, there was this film I completely forgot that I saw in college, that I hadn't thought about in a while, but someone I know got me back into liking it again. "The Adventures of Mark Twain" takes a claymation journey to the uncharted skies so Mark Twain can get to Haley's Comet and move on. The claymation in this film is outstanding and was directed by Will Vinton who directed the California Raisins and The Noid from the Domino's commercials. I always thought this was a kids' film, but it's for grown-ups and is by far one of the best stop-motion animation films I've ever encountered. Thanks, Emily for bringing this back to me!
