In Wube’s digital art installation "Fulton Flow, which was on view at Fulton Center in Spring-Fall 2019, he considered both the original development of lower Manhattan’s subway and present-day Fulton Center, connecting its historical past to contemporary everyday life, in the color palette of the New York City Transit subway lines. In Wube’s mixed media installation “Project Junction” at the newly reopened The Africa Center, he explores food as an expression of collective identity by visiting African restaurants within walking distance of the Center and researching their menus, and making line drawings to trace the ingredients’ history. Objects displayed recreate those found on the walls of the local restaurants, and reference how African cultures and communities in America connect with the past.
