• Family of Con-artists: Those from Boralus, specifically those who found themselves in Mariners Row, might be familiar with the name Parkhurst. Samuel Parkhurst would be the name to come to mind. A man who boasted about his craftsmanship, charged exuberant prices, and offered nothing more than mediocrity with no refunds. He had no shortage of enemies and his legacy was passed down his eldest child, debt and everything.
• Shop Down The Lane: Max owns a meager shop in the Mage Quarter, tucked between two other buildings and wedged deep within the alley. It may look decrepit, shady, and nasty but… No. It's pretty shifty looking.
• A Foreigner's Lament: Maxinora Parkhurst hails from a land where debts are collected, either by coin or by your head. Each month the woman is seen slipping from her household with a pouch full of coin, disappearing into the night only to return empty-handed in the morning.
• Dropout: Alchemy's been a interest to the eldest Parkhurst since her primary school years. Concotions used for pranks and funny gags soon turned to genuine fascination. She'd be scholar by now, some say, if only she had applied herself in her youth. After the passing of her father she dropped out of her classes, abandoned the study, and took up his young ward
• Young Ward: In her father's absence, she cares for her younger brother Augustine. Any remaining funds she possesses she invests in the boy's future and education. Despite being deeply flawed and hard-knuckled, Maxinora displays a nurturing side when dealing with Auggie and often dotes upon him. Augustine is often found wandering around Stormwind running errands and socializing.
Burn Bright: Maxinora finds it difficult to make enough to cover costs. To make up for loose ends, she brawls in backroom pubs under fixed terms and wages. Some nights she walks away with deep pockets, and others all she takes home are broken bones and bruises. "All in the name of love," she tells herself, "So long as he's cared for that's all that matters to me."
