Ahh thank you! I’m very glad to hear that you like my fishy son.
As for his backstory there isn’t really much to tell. Before he was captured by Redley and the other pirates he lived a pretty average siren life with his family, hunting for food, exploring the ocean floor, occasionally luring sailors to their deaths, etc. The only trauma he experienced during his childhood was the disappearance of his father, which happened when Theall was twelve. While Theall and his family know that he’s dead, they never found out what exactly happened to him.
Fun fact: Theall’s mother is very protective of her children, and thus she didn’t let Theall (or either of his siblings) go up to the surface until he was 15. However, the first time he went to the surface he was only ten, after sneaking up when his parents slept. He didn’t know how to breathe air though, so he just panicked and swam straight home.
