A strange question, indeed.

I assure you, I experience no discomfort when looking at myself in paintings. Only reservation, and annoyance, should the depiction be particularly unflattering or denigratory.

My dear Kalix, perhaps it is you who finds it alien to look at my portraits? Are you that concerned for my well-being, that you must feel what you imagine I endure?

Not everyone has the time to deal with such superficial things. I look, and feel, just fine the way I am.

If you don't fancy my appearance, you are very welcome to look the other way and actually focus on your tasks - grunt.

Sinbad was walking on the port in Rutsport, the night was set with the moon shining on the sky before suddenly his hat began to float and disappeared.« Oh my, isn’t it my dear captain that I see ? » A familiar voice could be heard. distinct from the different voices that bloomed on the port. (@thearcanist) Kalix was behind Sinbad, a smiling on his lips and his playful eyes shining as the magister who was holding the captain hat on his chest was now extending his arm, an invitation for his rightful owner to take it back.

┈➤ Oh?

Sinbad doesn't think he fully recognizes the voice from this Magister ... nor him, as he turns to get a good look. Another one that crosses through timelines and happens to spot him, he assumes.

┈➤ If you're looking for the one and only Captain around Rustport ... It's me.

And a cheeky and playful one just like him, too.

After a short while, he reaches out and takes his hat back, putting it back on.

┈➤ Thanks for catching my hat, by the way. Would be a huge shame if it got lost.

He says that, but his iconic smirk stays. He has a feeling Kalix isn't just playful ... but also quite a tease.

This is going to be fun.

Quite so. It was indeed an interesting time being back at the Lyceum and reunite with some old faces. Not a single dull moment.

What a shame about Headmaster Leymar. He has always watched both of us so closely when we were students, and I can nearly feel his gaze even now, from beyond his grave.

Of course, to be backed into a corner, such a corner must exist in the first place. I assure you, for such an intelligent animal, it does not. So I suggest you worry not about your snakes.
