Hi there, this is the spectator.

This is an ask/roleplay blog for Dionel, from AFK Journey, and it’s being managed by an adult.

Rules:

I’m open to most things, as long as you’re respectful.

NSFW and suggestive asks for me are 50/50… I’m a little on the fence with them, but as long as they’re not explicit, then it should be fine.

I may block someone purely for personal comfort, please understand. And before you ask, I am indeed aware of… certain bad eggs in the community.

Interpretations will adhere as closely to canon as possible. Maybe with a few headcanons here and there, but those are kept to a minimum.

Regarding Merlin, Dionel will refer as they/them by default, unless mentioned otherwise prior.

Last but not least for this section… This blog is for fun. After all, it’s best to simply relax and enjoy the moment when it comes to this kind of activity, right?

do you have favorites among your fellow celestials? what do you think of scarlita, baelran, talene, aliceth, etc.?

𖤓☽ Aliceth is good to be around... Except I wouldn't invite her to parties where I'm the host. Then there's Talene who's easy to tease...

I heard some terrible news about a Hypogean masquerading as a celestial. Oh, in Dura's name, people started to feel skeptical of the celestials because of an anomaly lingering across Esperia. No one knows what happen to the people encountering that "celestial." I am not sure how a celestial can distinguish the fake one..

𖤓☽ Regardless of how convincing their disguise may be—even with magic used to conceal, the nature of a Hypogean remains indistinguishable.

𖤓☽ But of course, the same can't be said to ordinary people as they can easily be fooled...

Say hypothetically, if you and your fellow ascended Celestials.. or the Divine Weapons were to consume 10 cans of energy drink.. would you feel any side effects or be completely fine?

𖤓☽ I’ve been a little less bored lately, as a few people and Magisters have already come for a visit. Each with their own kinds of intrigue, which certainly piques the interest.

The low, soft, silky-smooth melodic voice was tinged with a hint of watered excitement and boyish affection as a well-sculpted figure swoops in. Long, pale-blonde hair flowing and onyx-black eyes gleam up at Dionel with little smile. Sporting a near striking semblance to the Celestial himself before he falters,

"Oh wait- Ah.. you're not my Dionel. My bad." He apologizes as he schools his expression to something more cool and gently stoic. "But I'm still curious though. Are there any of your plays that are significant to you? That you fondly remember? Or maybe one you really think deeply of?" 

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, my name is Celestino." He introduces himself after he's asked.

𖤓☽ It is noteworthy how we have a lot of resemblances... While I don't exactly do favorites, I'd consider this current play the most interesting yet.

𖤓☽ Particularly, I'm curious as you instinctively called me "dad". I can't help but wonder how the me in your realm managed it...

Celestino chuckles under his breath as he floats a little closer, just five centimeters short of Dionel before he lounges in the air. Already making himself at home in the temple. Silver jewellery gleaming under the moonlight as he begins to regale a little bit of his origins,

"Well, I knew it wasn't a walk in the park but he had help from our fellow Celestials and I was quite spoiled and doted on too. Being a first-time father on the whim did not stop him from doing the best he can to raise me. As a Merlin later down the line, I wasn't immune from the memory loss thar afflicts other Merlins too, but I can definetely recall plenty of pleasant memories and what he- and the others- have taught me."

His eyes like a vast starless night gazed upon the interior of the area in the Moon Temple they're in with reverence and fondness. Even if this isn't his realm, the vibes and atmosphere remained intact.

"If it weren't for you guys, I wouldn't be the good youngling I am now~" The Archon-Magister coyly responds in a playful manner. Very much enjoying this moment as he then asks,

"Say, while I'm here, may I.. have a glass of your malt nectar? I promise I won't fall straight asleep like last time when the springs for the temple got repaired." Batting his lashes as he gives Dionel doe eyes with a bit of jest yet genuinity, "Besides, as Venus of Dusk, I can't possibly be dozing off at this time when I'm most active. We can chat the night away, contemplating whatever comes to mind, you know?"

Hey there Dionel! My question is.....do you admire Archon Alna as much as your friend Baelran does? I hear he's reallyyyy awestruck by her!

Hello Dionel!! I've been meaning to ask, but have you ever had any meaningful impressions with any of the Hypogeans? Or your fellow Celestials, for instance? I heard Celestials treat you a little differently... :'(((

𖤓☽ Hm, an interesting question…

𖤓☽ I can’t say whether I had meaningful interactions with any Hypogean… But I do have a few with fellow Celestials, and trust me—since you knew how they see me, those are of all kinds.

𖤓☽ Many of them say I’m frivolous, indulgent, or an idiot who doesn’t care about anything… Though, if you ask me, people would prefer to relax than to get overwhelmed with work.

𖤓☽ I do admit I lose control sometimes, but trust me as I know to enjoy things properly…

𖤓☽ Humans after having a moment to appropriately relax and indulge will be energized for the next time they’re needed for work, don’t you think?

𖤓☽ That’s why I get along well with Baelran. He’s always known me best—albeit a little too serious sometimes, himself… He just needs a little pick-me-up, and I’ve got a plan for that.

𖤓☽ I’ve been thinking about an exclusive gathering—something he surely won’t miss out on…
