What Their Grace Feels Like | Grace Headcanons
Every angel has their own kind of vibe and I feel like the emotions / sentiments that their grace would evoke in people touched by it would reflect that.
Characters: Castiel, Lucifer, Gabriel, Michael, Raphael
some wing and eye (and name) headcanons!
Raphael in The Man Who Knew Too Much (6x22): SPN POC [85/?]
it's interesting to think that if dean is the reflection of michael, sam with lucifer, then adam is probably or should be the main vessel of raphael, too. considering he is the most overlooked sibling, and not to mention, is/was a med student.
i also wonder if adam was a predestined character, or if he was just created by chuck out on a whim, or he was born out of john's free will.
it's also an interesting hc of mine that there's only one adam among all the verses that chuck created.
This is probably a thought someone’s had before but if Jo was a Winchester it would give each of the archangels a Winchester-blood vessel that line up pretty well
Dean and Sam have Michael and Lucifer obvi
Then if we carry on in the birth order, you’d have Jo with Raphael and Adam with Gabriel
Jo is very goal oriented, once she’s decided on something that’s that even when it starts causing problems around her, this matches up with Raphael’s single minded agenda when it came to bringing the apocalypse around
Adam was able to be raised outside of the family, reminiscent of how Gabriel left his family to have a fresh life - and we see him being one to get along with Michael best (whether you view that in a platonic or romantic way) which would match biblically as Michael and Gabriel are often depicted side by side, one would assume they got along. As well as being personality similar to Dean
You could also go not in birth order with Jo being Gabriel which I really like - I think her whole getting away from her mother plotline and trying to prove herself on her own matches well with Gabriel. Similarly to Adam and Michael, we see Jo and Dean get on like a house on fire which would have them being Michael and Gabriel’s vessels work well.
But the similarities between Raphael and Adam fall through though which man I wanted to round this out but I guess not
The French Mistake really is as good as you all have said though. I've heard about this episode since I started this show, but I FINALLY got to watch it today and OH. MY. GOSH. "I'm a painted whore." The whole deal with Ruby/Gen. Why is there an alpaca in Jared's yard? Does he actually own one in real life? Why doesn't Dean know the difference between an alpaca and a camel? Why was everyone so adamant about it being weird that Jensen and Jared were talking, did they not really hang out or weren't really friends at that point? We're six seasons in and like my sister said, "They were farting in the Impala in season 1." Why is Misha so left out, it feels like a duo and not a trio, which kinda makes sense because it's like Sam and Dean and Misha, but I feel like it felt like him getting left out of the J2 shenanigans :(
But don't get me started on the background Misha! Him looking at them weird when they run up to him, in character because they ARE the characters, and he just goes along with it. For like five solid minutes. And you can TELL he's putting on the Cas voice, and then just stops lmao. My sister the whole episode said she didn't really know Misha's real voice so it weirded her out, but I was concerned for myself because I just accepted it like second nature. I've seen too many convention videos I guess lmao.
Dean lowering his voice to "play Dean" because "That's how he does it!" as a direct nod to Misha lowering his voice to play Cas. Bobby being named after Bob Singer. Sam looking directly at the camera while Dean does the Cas stare at Misha. The Days of Our Lives reference.
There's DEFINITELY so much more that I'm forgetting and will remember as I scroll through stuff related to the episode on here, but it absolutely IS the episode of all time.
We're always talking archangels, seraphs, cherubs,…
But what about the electric angels?
They're dramatic,
powerful,
bitchy and smug
They hold grudges.
They can't be wrong...
...and the universe is big enough for only ONE of them
