Iv seen so many videos on self improvement and daily routine that I think its time to kick my self into gear and make one of my own.
The main inspiration comes from Casey Neistat’s daily routine video and the people who are trying to follow suit. I have to much on my plate to become a youtuber so blogging will do me fine for documentation for now.
CASEY NEISTAT'S SCHEDULE: -
7-7:30 - breakfast with Francine -
8am - 9:45 - run & get ready for day -
5am - Wake up / Stretch / Meditation / light workout - 1 hour
Casey gets up at like 4am and 5am is gonna be pushing it for me. He also goes straight to the computer which im not into so 1 hour of waking up, meditation and movement.
6am - Computer work / admin - 2 hours
Since its too early to start playing music at this time then its an opportunity to work on the computer. Blogging the day before and organising whats a priority for the coming day. Emails, Webwork and Te reo review of the day before is a must. Beat making and mixing is optional
8am - Small breakfast / Run / Workout - 1hour
Casey seems to have breakfast before he runs which im not a fan of so im thinking some fruit and then into it
9.30am - Work - 8hours work
Because what i consider to be work covers a large variety I feel the first thing should be sitting down and reviewing priorities again. Which projects are more over due then others. Things that must be included are :
Music, both writing and practicing
This will be the most challenging part because it will be easy to get stuck on one thing or to forget what needs attention. And as I said not everyday is the same. Some times its interrupted by driving Jd to and from work or gigs and busking. Theres a gym by jds work so i can fit fitness into driving her to and from there. And when we busk or play gigs then this will be counted as a part of the 8 hours of work.
5.30pm - Family time / Free time - 5 hours
This is one thats kind of hard to consider right now being in a state of drive and improvement but im sure it will be beneficial. I don’t kids, don’t live at home and don’t know anyone in the town I’m in so will be interesting to see what this time is spent on. May be a good time to cook, do shopping and watch shows which has been a big part of my non productivity in the past. Also a time to learn and review my Te reo
10.30pm - Gym / workout - 1 hour
Now i wont be following this to the T as my days are not always the same as i have gigs at different times as well as driving jd to work at different times. But i have an idea.
and 1 hour to get to and from each thing
So if i can just fit these in the day then well be set. Lets see how we go
