its legit my first time doing crew and they have me on lights im actually scared 😭 i and 3 other people built the WHOLE set too like what if it breaks 😭

Wth is my Anastasia stage directions written like mediocre fan fiction, to be clear not poorly written just, mediocre fan fic (especially between Anya and Dmitry cause like why is there a whole page which gave only kinda actual stage direction and no dialog)

You know what really pisses me off? Crew members who think they're better than actors. This is coming from a 12 show backstage veteran who has never once been onstage.

Because genuinely, what did you think you signed up for. "They're so annoying! They won't stop singing, they're loud, they suck!" THAT'S THEIR WHOLE ENTIRE JOB.

Listen, I understand complaining about the specific cast for whatever show you're doing, I understand getting fed up with them, but you cannot insult actors as a whole, because we would not have a show to put on without them. It goes both ways! You cannot have cast without crew, or crew without cast. That's just how it is!

You can't complain about them wearing glitter when you're the one that bedazzled their costumes.

If you're upset that people are actually doing the show that you signed up for, do something else. No one wants that attitude here. You're just being awful about something you chose to do. Stop coming if you don't even like it. It's just that simple.

I love the actors, I love the crew, I love putting on a show. Yes, I get annoyed with them sometimes. I get annoyed with everyone. That just happens. I am not more, or less, important than them. Every person involved in the show is as integral as the next. No one deserves to be put down over something so untrue, and, to be frank, bitchy.

You chose to be here. Act like it.

TL;DR: Crew does not have the high ground, moral or otherwise, over cast, or vice versa. We are all working together to put on a show, and we all deserve each other's respect.

Ash

Ash's design in the first movie was not bad at all but i have definitely seen an upgrade in how she expresses her emotions! like

she does look prettier and i have noticed how she wears more feminine makeup 👑🙈 her eyeshadow pops out and even her lips!

i feel like her eyes have gotten lighter a little bit and closer to the end, i feel like she smiles more and she is clearly so much happier around the theater gang

she has certainly went from a “moody teenager” to a happy soul around her family🙈 (especially around buster and i dont blame her) speaking of buster, let’s go to him!

Buster

(haaa i love this guys ENERGY it drives me when im sad just like it drives the whole movie)

Buster’s fur is something i really noticed that has improved in the next movie! x

this adorably goofy koala’s fur looks so much softer and you can see almost every strand of hair that he has on his little face! and from the first movie, 

i feel like more mass/volume has been added to him.✨ you can see how his cheeks/face don’t really touch the collar of his shirt and you can kind of almost see his neck/chest. but in the next movie, his cheeks are touching his shoulders and you can’t really see much of his chest. the animation is so spectacular already but for the second movie, they have definitely upgraded A LOT! (he always had chubby cheeks in the first movie, but they added more cheeks to my baby🙈)

yes, i feel like i see more volume in Buster Moon x

edit: i dont know if it is just me, but in the last gif here, i feel like buster has put on weight😂🙈

Meena (YES, haters. let me include this queen🙄)

now Meena has always been super tall, but i feel like she has gotten taller! same thing as Buster, i feel like volume has been added to them the most. x

she is one of the tallest in the group! she looks as tall as clay and porsha!

i also think Meena wears more makeup too🙈 she is so beautifulll! haa and she has more lashes than she did in the first movie! she needs more appreciation!

Rosita

i feel that Rosita has put on more makeup in the second movie as well like Meena!

and Rosita has always been smaller than Gunter in the first movie but in this scene she looks even smaller

i dont really have much to say about Rosita but i am sure her lips and skin look smoother and... even her snout!🙈x

Johnny

(UGH how is Johnny is so cute haaa!)

so in the first movie, i can clearly see that he looks younger and his fur is more rough, like Buster.

he has clearly gotten older in the next movie and looks softer to the touch!

Gunter

for Gunter’s design, i feel that his face is a lot smaller in the first movie haha!!

but in the next movie, his face/cheeks have clearly gotten larger! same thing with Buster, Gunter has definitely had more volume and mass added to him!

edit: it cant be just me, i feel like gunter has put on weight!
