Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line releases today for the PS4 and Switch.
Publisher Square Enix and developer indieszero will release a demo for Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line for PlayStation 4 and Switch on February 1, the companies announced.

Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line is the biggest rhythm action game in the series, with a massive 385 Final Fantasy tracks in the standard edition alone – plus 27 more in the Deluxe Editions. Plus, there will be multiple downloadable content packs featuring music from other Square Enix series, like NieR, Octopath Traveler, LIVE A LIVE, Mana, SaGa, and more.
That’s a lot of music, and the demo gives you a generous selection of 30 tracks from that massive playlist.
Music Stages in the game fall into three types:
Battle Music Stage (BMS) – Defeat waves of enemies in time to up-tempo battle themes.
Field Music Stage (FMS) – Journey forth with a party across themed landscapes with relaxing field music.
Event Music Stage (EMS) – Play to the beat against the backdrop of unforgettable scenes from each title.

Check your in-game accomplishments.
■ Live Info
Choose whether to show or hide live info from the settings. Live info shows the high score for the current song, party information, and real time controller input.
This feature is recommended for streamers and players who want to see more information while they play!

■ Music Stages
In this mode, you can freely play any tracks you’ve unlocked.
Aim to beat your high scores or play however you like!
Additional Information
You can sort all the tracks you have unlocked by name, series, or other groupings, making it easier to find the song you want even as the available track list grows.
■ Styles
Standard Style
The core play style of the game using the standard controls.
Pair Style
A style that lets two players play together on one screen.
In an Event Music Stage or Field Music Stage, each player takes either the upper or lower lanes. In an Event Music Stage, they take either the left or right lanes.
Simple Style
A style that uses simplified controls, letting you play with just a single button.
■ ProfiCards
ProfiCards contain a player’s personal gameplay records. You can customise the icon and card design to your liking.
Create your own unique ProfiCard to swap with other players!
Additional Information
You can also set a summonstone to your ProfiCard. After a Multi Battle, you exchange ProfiCards with other players, giving them the attached summonstone.
(You keep the summonstone even after giving it to other players.)

Square Enix has released a short five minute tutorial video introducing the gameplay and mechanics of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: All-Star Carnival just a few days before of its April 15 location test in Japan
