I can’t remember my first crush, but I had a big crush on a guy named Reagan in middle school, mostly because he was one of the only guys in class who didn’t actively bully me or my friends. He danced with me, quite kindly, at a middle school dance, even though he had a crush on my friend who we’ll call Caroline. It was a very Big Deal. Also, through recent Facebook creeping, I have confirmed that little Aly had good taste in the looks department. Hot damn.

THE BRASS IS BETTER THAN ANYTHING LTG for real. Also yeah, I fail to see how her synth players could tackle all the horn parts, you know?

brass is always better idk how that could b a thing 2 hate on but yeah!! i dont really see how they could do it either and i think the song would lose its touch w/o a brass or horn section. the sounds too big to just be substituted for anything else..so...here. is.....2 hoping. also hopefully not the only song on the record that does have some heavy brass so there's more reason 2 believe in a section on the tour maybe

Oh good god, you. I don't even know where to fucking begin.

You have been my rock for years. I don't know how we could have only known each other for five years now-- six, maybe, if we count back when we were barely friends-- and you could still be this instrumental in my life. I have called you, crying, from London and I've called you, vomiting, from Iowa, and I've called you on a bad medication reaction from my floor and I've drunk texted you from someone's shitty flat in New Cross. You've been so instrumental to me clinging to my life and sanity these past few months that I don't even know how to thank you. I don't even know if I can.

I've lost track of the times we've sat outside each other's houses until two in the morning. I can't remember how many of each other's sentences we've finished, or how often we speak in unison or make the same gestures, or how we got to the point where we don't even have to look at each other to know exactly what we're thinking. It's wonderful, and beautiful, and scary how much I know you, and how much I love you.

My entire music library is made up of things you've given me or you've told me I'd like; nobody appreciates Peaches or the Kills with me like you do. You have never told me to shut up and actually meant it, and you  don't make me talk when I can't. You've never been afraid of me, and that means more than I could ever say.

1. Do you tend to ignore long text posts?

Whoops, yes, usually. If they have pictures/are related to something I like/are posted by someone I like, I'll do it, but if it's the big MUST READ OMG CURRENT EVENT thing I'll skim it orz

2. Do you prefer hot weather or cold weather?

I kind of like both! I love hot weather bc I hate wearing clothes and I can be out really late and still be comfytimes, but cold weather is nice cos everyone wears sweaters and is cute. I'd prefer hot to cold, though, cos I'm a big weenie.

3. What is the thing that you do when you are the most sad and need to cheer up?

I listen to good music in a ball on my bed until I feel good enough to watch something silly/snuggle/do other cheer up stuff

4. Do you like fizzy beverages and if so, what is your favorite kind?

YEEEEEEH I like flavored seltzer water and sparkling ciders and lemonades. Safeway makes this mad tasty pomegranate Italian soda that I will drink by the gallon. I gave up soda but Diet Coke used to be my lifeblood.

5. Do you (begrudgingly or wholeheartedly) enjoy pop music? EXPLAIN

I LOVE IT AND WILL NEVER APOLOGIZE it's catchy and earnest and fun and those are all the things I love

6. What do you do when the bottom of your foot really itches but you can’t take your shoe off to itch it?

try to scratch it through my shoe with my other foot or I'll stomp it on the ground and whine like an idiot until it stops

7. In a magical world, what would be your idea job or means of living your life? Live off the land? Become an investment banker? Astronaut? Americans Next Top Model?

I would live in a tiny apartment in some sleepy metropolitan city (like Paris or Edinburgh) with a cute happy dog (hot long-term partner optional) and get paid to drink lots of coffee and write short stories all day. OR I'd work at some happy indie game developing studio in the Bay writing interesting beautiful video games (still the nice apartment with a good view, still the cute s/o)

8. What type of personality annoys you the most? Why does it annoy you?

that type of person that's "sassy" or "blunt" but really just are mean and cruel and shrill, because they're terrible AND they're audacious enough to deny being fucking horrible humans

9. What are your opinions on Beyonce.
