Dick: "Do you want me to affect the trout population?"
Jason: "That's the most unique way I've ever heard someone offer to kill for me."

Dick: "Do you want me to affect the trout population?"
Jason: "That's the most unique way I've ever heard someone offer to kill for me."
Jason, beta-reading a very angsty piece of Dick's writing, delighted: "Oh you are wretched."
Dick, ready and willing to twist the knife further: "You flatter me."
Tim, sitting in an armchair in a different halls decked to the nines lobby: "You're probably wondering why I called you here."
Jason, in the opposite armchair, while a fake fireplace flickers between them: "I'm not, actually."
Jason: "Diiiiiiccckkkk. You should consider letting someone other than Tim check your bones."
Dick, uncaring, bones like wet noodles: "Tim's never checked my bones. Nobody's ever checked my bones. My bones don't need checking."
Jason: "I have some doubts about that."
Dick, doing Research: "Do you think I can convince Bruce to let me enter a cocaine sampling giveaway?"
Jason, not known for helping Dick's impulse control: "Do it."
Dick: "There's 7 samples and only 10 entries. I think I have a good shot."
Tim, lying in bed: "I've been trying to get to bed at a reasonable hour--"
Dick, hanging over the side of the bunk, looking down at Tim: "It's 2:40 AM."
Tim, insistent: "--a reasonable hour!"
Tim, to Jason: "You look like a penguin who's aware that it's cold."
Jason: "How long do you think it's been since we put the cake in?"
Dick: "I have no clue."
Jason: "Perfect! We should not have been left alone."
