may I have a snail. are there radioactive snails,

None that I am aware of... but there's one that certainly looks the part under UV!

I was moving this snail from some Hostas and it just slimed onto me. And kept exploring. I didn't know they could be this friendly.

Diagnosis: Cornu aspersum Common name: Garden Snail Notes: Snails can be surprisingly chill! There's a surprising amount of personality between individuals, I've found. Some like to hide in their shell when disturbed, while others will pop right out and explore.

Found this pair of cuties in the driveway while taking out the recycle this evening, any idea on species? In the Portland, OR area if that helps

(The left one is currently circling my elbow, the right one finally came out of their shell and is exploring my wrist - I’ll put them back in the flower bed near where I found them once I submit this ask)

ABYSMAL photo so i wont get my hopes up but heres a little guy i saw the other day

Diagnosis: Cornu aspersum Common name: Garden Snail Notes: Perhaps a bit disappointing, but certainly not surprising - C. aspersum is a very common terrestrial snail in many regions of the globe.
