Can someone please explain what is going on with thebjdplace? I wanted to sign up because I think it's a great idea to list all types of bjd makers/customizers/costumers/eye and wig makers and so on in the same place. However, twice now I've seen some very confusing snippets of drama on my feed about some kind of accusations and hate. I am not asking to snoop in petty drama, but if something seriously ethically wrong is up I want to know so I can decide whether or not to try to join. Thanks!

Mod: Lol I got a threatening message from an Anon about the BJD place person, so I guess we're not posting about them here either. Just to let you know that I keep an eye on who does what (clarification linked here - meaning I listen to what you guys are saying) and this person is on the "Do Not Trust" list as far as I'm concerned.

I recommend nobody communicate with this person (owner of the BJD Place) in regard to the hobby or anything else, based on what I have read/had submitted to me over the last year here. There were some confessions coming up today about them, but the tl;dr is TBJplace accused someone of sending horrible messages to them, and then retracted it. They have also been harassing said person themselves for this whole year over an $8 transaction. Steer clear, everyone.

I'm still impressed that some people who talked shit about Moii are trying to get into TheBJDPlace. But not impressed at all bc people in this hobby are the worst. But really, how old are you to not to understand that your actions have consecuences?. If I were her, I will not let that m*therfuckers enter in MY project. People in this hobby is disgusting and likes to make lots of bullying, and then act like nothing happened. Seriously? Grow up. Make your own website with your asshole friends.

Does “I keep an eye on who does what” mean the mod is using that exploit to see who’s sending all our anon confessions? Because that puts me right off of confessing. It seems like the mod should honour the spirit of this being anonymous.

Mod: What I mean is I’m reading everything (because I have to in order to moderate) and after a year you end up getting to know the topics and people in an abstract way. it’s impossible for me to see IP addresses or who sent what, and if someone is logged in I don’t pay attention either. I don’t follow any of you guys online, my only contact with the BJD world is on this blog which is InteResting to say the least, but I love you all except for Mooi/TheBJDplace and whatever Anon sent me the threatening message I referred to there. To be clear I’m not saying Mooi sent the message in, and I deleted it, but just to say sending me messages like that will not have the desired effect.

I don't mind thebjdplace having a donation link on it but some of the artists there are a joke. Why is this site creator trying to re-invent the wheel just because a few crybabies don't want to ( or can't) use Den of Angels or don't like Instagram? There's nothing exciting, fresh or unique about this site. Not joining.

I won't be supporting any of The BJDplace Artists and I won't be recommending people to use them either. Why? Because the owner and only moderater uses her personal bias against artists even going as far as denying Artists associated with people she doesn't like. That's not a professional mentality when trying to help new people coming in to the hobby.
