In Nashville for work and wanted some bbq. After some recommendations from my boy Elvinson, I went to Martin's as it was only 15 minutes from where I was working. Unfortunately, I got there after 8 pm and was told they were out of ribs and brisket. They still had wings though, so I got 12 dry rubbed wings and a side of fries. Good Lord those wings were delicious! Smokey, meaty, spicy! What I dream my wings would taste like. And the fries were close to perfect. My beer was The Black Abbey The Special Belgian Dubbel. It was 7.4% abv. There were flavors of dried dark fruit, candy, and a touch of bitterness. It was pretty good!
