There’s a line from The Black Sparrow upcoming extended epilogue from Rory’s pov. In reference to Number 12.

“She can’t remember ever being afraid of falling, not here. Not in this house. She’s never felt anything but secure”

And the parallel for how Rory and Teddy see and experience Number 12 to how Regulus and Sirius did. Ever Harry, they made that house a home but they did it together. In those first months with Remus Regulus and Harry they’re just three broken people trying their best. Eventually. With work and love they made it into this. They took that house full of fear and darkness and hate and they made it something good.

You might remember that I’m really dyslexic. You may also be aware that for a pivotal chapter of The Black Sparrow, which remains mostly un beta read (because I can’t find anyone to complete the task) , I wrote the phrase “the invisibility clock” I wrote clock in place of cloak SEVERAL TIMES. The fic had over 100,000 hits before anyone told me about the error.

When I wrote this coming epilogue I had my wife beta for me and I used the phrase “cloak room” if you guessed that I wrote “clock room” YOU WOULD BE RIGHT.

They just text me “i’m sorry i’m still giggling at clock room” thanks love
