After our brunch Lisa and I headed over to Hollywood Boulevard to check out David Bowie’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard. It’s near the LA Fitness sign and near Target. Some flowers adorned his Star. I was determined to get a selfie with his Star to commentate his birthday and his passing. This is the weekend of The Awakening which is 4 days Bowie will be remembered. It started on the 8th which had the theme: “The Arrival”. Followed on the 9th with “Loving The Alien, the 10th “The Blackstar” and culminating with “The Awakening” on the 11th. Pretty mystical stuff. Of course, I was thinking of Robyn too who informed of these proceedings. When Robyn had visited to see Bauhaus she made a point to visit his Star. I think Daniel Ash and David J Haskins would’ve been pleased had they know of Robyn’s activities before there show. Robyn mentioned visiting the Star when I told her I was going to visit Sidney Poitier’s reef on Friday. So Lisa and I had out moment with David on The Awakening weekend. As a fan myself it was pretty cool to be there.
