"Goodness, I wasn’t aware of you presence, I’m sorry." Gwen's voice was quick in her shock at the other, an attempt at a polite and apologetic smile overtaking her lips. "I could leave, should it please you. I thought I was alone."
— ❝ You haven't seen a guy in a suit run past have you? About yey high and great hair? ❞
Cara said with a weak smile and a little breathless.

London hadn’t changed much in her absence, not that she really expected it to. She had only been gone for 8 years. Still, it was nice, breathing the air that she had grown up with and not the stale air of the parallel universe she had been trapped in. She hadn’t yet run into Jack or the Doctor, not that she really thought she would. She had all but given up on that. He had left her to have a life that he thought she wanted. Hell, she thought she wanted it – until the day of her wedding.
She didn’t want to dwell on being left at the altar; she had enough bad memories to last a lifetime. So, with her head held high she walked into the clothing shop that employed her. She was back to working in a shop, not that there was high demand for someone who was at one point legally dead and had a CV that consisted of long periods of time “travelling.”
She had tried searching for the Doctor when she first returned..she was scared of the dreams she was having. She dreamed that she was Rose but not Rose, that was all she could remember, an older warrior, a box and a button. For some reason she thought the man was the Doctor in her dreams. It was really barmy. Those dreams eventually faded..as did her drive to find the Doctor. It seemed as if he didn’t want to be found.

Olympus had been almost startlingly quiet. No loud fights, no deaths. It was actually a little unnerving to Hestia, and she was waiting for something to happen. Nursing one of the fire pots, an odd sound reached her ears from down the corridor. It didn't sound like anything godly, so she left the flames and followed the sound. A blue box met her, and the goddess furrowed her brows. How odd.

A museum is where they had decided to go. Not one she had been to before, of course-- not one that anyone she had known had been to. The year was 3,024 and she wanted to see what would change since then. It wasn't a time for the Doctor to show off, which she had distinctly warned him not to do. While she had been a part of changing history so many times, for once she wanted to sit back and observe it. Different races from outer space and humans were living together peacefully on Earth, which had caused a new spark in art. The worlds and cultures had come together to create something she had never thought she'd seen before-- a world that was so beautiful. Her eyes moved to look at a certain statue, her lips curling into a small smile. "Doctor, look at this one!" She said, reading a plaque. "It's an Adipose," she said, unaware that The Doctor had indeed known what it was-- though she should have. It seemed the Doctor knew everything. "Does it stay this way?" She asked, walking to look at one of the paintings on the wall. "Peaceful, I mean," The woman smiled once more, digging her hands into her jacket pocket. "Rory would have loved this one," She commented, "Of course he had to go and get some alien flu," The ginger said in a mocking tone, a small laugh escaping her lips.
"I love you." ((Because of reasons skhsdkjfhasds))
Amy paused and watched the other for a moment. Those were the last words she had expected to come out of The Doctor's mouth, leaving her stunned for a moment. After her advances had been shot down, she figured that had been the end of it-- that he thought she belonged with Rory. Had something changed since then?"You're joking," The woman finally managed to get out, trying to laugh ever so gently. But it wasn't funny. After all this time, she had still felt something with The Doctor that she hadn't with Rory-- a space in her heart that was missing. But The Doctor didn't love her, not truly. Amy shifted, averting her gaze. She wished his words were true.
