This morning, I asked the cards "How will I grow today?" I drew the Magician, the 7 of Feathers (Wands) and the Daughter of Roots (Pentacles) from The Brady Tarot. ⭐ The Crow flies through the sky, Roots, Horns, Arrows and Feathers surrounding it. The Crow is the sum of all part of myself and is a reminder that I contain magic. The Magician reminds me that I already have everything I need within me to create miracles. I need to stop second guessing myself and forge on with creating my magic, using my words and my paintings to help brighten the lives of other people. I need to trust that my magic is sound and it brings me light. I will grow by recognizing that I have magic within me. ⭐ In the 7 of Feathers, two bison are at a standstill. They recognize that each is powerful and that they are balanced forces. This card is about power and the will to harness it. There is no need to fight against myself as I deplete my power when I do that. I need to realize that the power I have comes from within me and that every action I take can build that power. My spirit is so strong and this card is a reminder that I am capable of so much more than I think I am. I will grow by recognizing the power I hold within. ⭐ The Daughter of Roots sits within a tree, gazing out at what is possible. She is grounded and kind, but has a thirst for learning and knowledge. She is about to begin a journey from what is known to what is possible. I love how She is at the start of a journey and that the skies she is heading into are full of colour and light. The Daughter of Roots reminds me to ground myself in the thrill of knowledge and learning. I have not been giving myself time to learn lately. This morning, i asked the cards "What do I focus on today?" I drew the 7 of Horns (Cups), the 7 of Arrows (Swords) and the Lovers from The Brady Tarot. I'm drawn to the two sevens and the duality there. 🌟 In the 7 of Horns, the beavers are building their dam, but there are leaks all throughout it. They don't see the leaks as they are so focused on the job at hand. Their perfect day is going to come tumbling down and they will have to work hard to keep it held together. This card is about the illusion of perfection, how it too will tumble if its looked at closely. This card is asking me to let go of the idea of perfection as it doesn't exist. 🌟 In the 7 of Arrows, humans have left their arrows in the woods. Squirrels have chewed the arrows, weakening them and thereby stealing power away from the humans and leaving them vulnerable. This card is asking me to stop thinking of mysekf as weak and useless, to stop letting negative thoughts take away my power. 🌟 In the Lovers, two whooping cranes are engaged in a mating dance watched over by an eagle. The cranes mate for life and they are powerful birds in their own right but they are more powerful together. The eagle represents devine intervention and light, symbolizing a deep spiritual love. This card is asking me to celebrate the love I have with my husband rather than dwell on thoughts of perfection and weakness. 🌟 To him, I am strong and beautiful. I need to give myself a reset and view myself through his eyes to see myself in a different light.
