So, for forever and ever, they've been making those charming, yet kind horrible LCD games (except nintendos game and watches, I love those things) and last year they made pac man and space invaders that look like mini arcade cabs, but still, yknow, LCD junk versions. So last night I'm at the store, and I see QBert and Centipede minicabs, and the screens are black. Normally, because the graphics on LCD game screens are black, the backgrounds are white, so you can see the etching. Initially, I thought they were just inverted, white etches, and black backgrounds. And they both had "TRY ME!" Buttons on the front, so I press it, and the thing is the full arcade game! I know they've had like DIY raspberry Pi projects for mini arcades for a while, but selling em in stores? And they're only $20 a piece, too. So I guess mini LCD screens mustn't be that expensive anymore. There's a "LOADING..." At the bottom, but otherwise they're perfect emulations of the games themselves. I love it. #atari #arcade #arcadeclassics #centipede #ataricentipede #arcadecabinet #basicfun #thebridgedirect
