Ok, if you are going to meet up with somebody and something UBER important comes up, like your friend needs to be picked up from a crazy situation, and you tell the person you were going to meet up with that something came up like 2 hours before you were going to meet up, is that standing somebody up?

I mean...maybe in like the purest definition of just like...failing to keep a meeting? But I wouldn't really consider it to be? Like, standing up would be making a date and then just not showing up...Implicitly often with malicious or apathetic intent. But that's not really the feeling I'm getting with this situation? Because, let's be real, life gets in the way of life sometimes and that's not something you can help! If an emergency comes up, that takes priority over leisure meetings. If you take responsibility, do your due diligence in reaching out to let the other party know what's going on (especially if you can do that in advance or asap) then it's justifiable cause and certainly understandable! And then you're doing your best to make sure they that don't feel stood up! Because the mature thing would be recognizing and understanding that sometimes things aren't in our control, we can only do so much at once, and and we can only deal with a situation (particularly a crisis) to the best of our ability. So. I guess short answer, sure, it still sucks and it may be frustrating for everyone, but if you reach out to let them know the situation, I wouldn't call it "standing somebody up."

On an APs birthday Walt Disney himself calls them to wish them a magical year. 'Cuz all APs know he's not dead or frozen or any of that non-sense, he just lives in Torrance.

Walton calls every Premium Passholder on their birthday, yes. He also throws a huge party for them every year in his mansion in Torrance. The theme is Gatsby and Walton often spends the entire night looking wistfully out a window.
