Day 2 - Coffee Shop AU

There’s a customer that scares the shit out of Shang Fei; he’s tall and intimidating and hot and keeps glaring at him like he wants his head on a stick! It doesn’t help that he keeps getting distracted by his… ahem, big heart, whenever the guy orders, he can practically see the guy’s eyes narrow every time he has to ask him to repeat what he said again. This time, it seems he had enough of Shang Fei’s bullshit, he asked when Shang Fei gets off of work and told him to meet him outside with a scary face! aaaaa he’s going to get beat up!!!

There’s a barista that Mobei likes, he’s short and nice but really, really overworked, he doesn’t judge Mobei for his scary appearance like the other baristas in this cafe do, and always diligently takes his order— well, as diligently as he can. His mind seems to wander alot whenever he’s taking Mobei’s order; clearly a sign of stress and lack of sleep, still, he always makes the drinks exactly as he wants them. Mobei would like to thank him for his work and lack of judgment, so he decided to ask him out. After asking his friend and his boyfriend for advice, his friend’s partner insisted he be direct about it to avoid any misunderstandings, so he went and told the barista to meet him after his shift is over. He really can’t wait

DAY 5 - Tree spirit

They say that if you enter the forest surrounding Qing Jing, you’ll hear faint voices; soft whispers and angry hissing. They say those who have gotten lost in the cover of darkness woke up near the exits, protective Qi-infused, vines surrounding them, protecting them from the wild beasts of the forest. They say those who have entered injured often came out unscathed with their wounds healed and Qi replenished.

They say the head disciple of the scholarly peak once got lost for a whole week after a particularly difficult mission, that he had somehow came back slightly more pleasant for a few days before returning back to his prickly old self. They say that he began sneaking off into the forest, disappearing for days on end with various, seemingly ordinary items of food and books instead of running off to get drunk in brothels. Some wonder if the forest is his secret hide-out, others gossip that a generous being of the heavens resides in there, and that the head disciple is selfishly keeping the blessings to himself in exchange for his offerings.

Only Shen Jiu knows that in the forest lies a kind, benevolent idiot of a tree spirit that doesn’t know the first thing about taking care of himself and that he’s a prime target to be taken advantage of. As Qing Jing Peak’s head disciple it’s his responsibility to make sure the spirits on his peak survive at least until his ascension, obviously. And if the spirit wants to heal him and replenish his Qi after every mission as a form of gratitude, who is he to stop him? But seriously, does his taste in book have to be so atrocious?

Day 1 - Cooking/Baking/Whipped Cream!

It’s an open secret that the Bai Zhan Peak Lord and the Qing Jing Peak Lord don’t get along that well, and if they happen to be in the same room, fights are bound to break out and witnesses are unlikely to leave unscathed. Disciples from both peak often complain about having to cover their ears the whole way through teamed night hunts if they didn’t want all the yelling to burst their eardrums.

Despite that, a few young Beast Peak disciples have taken to spreading rumors that the two are actually closer than one would expect, the rumors originating from a disciple who allegedly saw the two of them together in the peak’s kitchens, playfully bantering as they diligently prepared desserts to welcome the Beast Peak Lord back from a long mission

Though, when asked, the younger Shen vehemently denies such a thing ever occurring: for one, the position he found his brother and his shidi in was neither playful nor harmless banter, another thing was that he had never seen a glimpse of the supposed desserts his disciples were ranting on about, he doesn’t know where that particular part of the rumor came from, but he does wonder why they were both in his kitchen to begin with

Day 3 - Jewellery

Luo Binghe was still browsing when he felt something cool and metallic press against his ear, taking his attention away from the decorative rack “Did Laoshi find something he likes?” Shen Yuan only hummed in response, too focused on his task of squinting through his glasses at the different earrings he found as if he were carefully examining a cursed artifact, before settling on one he liked, a red cherry earring with a golden stem.

“This one is a bit big, but it matches your eyes,” Shen Yuan nodded gravely to himself, before cracking a small smile at how ridiculous he sounded “I always thought your design would look cool with piercings, those cool black ones, but obviously earrings didn’t look like this back then”

“Obviously.” Luo Binghe repeated as Shen Yuan handed him the little cherry “This lord never considered it before this moment, but If Laoshi wishes I could use Xin Mo to pierce—“

“Woah, nonono! no need for that!”

“But Laoshi, at my level of cultivation, Xin Mo is the only sword truly capable of puncturing my skin to such a degree…”

“How about not using a sword at all!? Come on, security’s looking at us!”
