Scott's always afraid to breach the Allison subject, and the truth is, he always hopes that Chris will be the one to bring up when they're alone. He doesn't want to force Chris to think of the daughter that he lost, but he saw the way the older man helped Isaac after her death. He wanted to be helped like that, and he knew that he could help Chris in return if he only had the chance.

Scott blames it on the eyes. While everything about Chris can be incredibly intimidating, his eyes are always soft. Scott feels safe when he feels the older man's gaze on him. He feels like everything will be alright if he can just manage to keep Chris' watchful stare on him for just a few more seconds.

When he and Chris get into a fight, it's always extreme. Normally they can manage to find a compromise, but if they can't, then it's a war zone. They yell, they wrestle, they throw things until finally one of them is forced to submit. Some people might say two stubborn people don't belong together, but especially don't say that to them when they're in the middle of a fight or they might find a reason to join forces again and that's always a deadly combination.

Every year, Scott and Chris come together for one special night where they remember the fallen. There's always a big shrine made to Allison especially, but the others are always there, too. Boyd, Erica, Victoria, Aiden, everyone who they lost because of Beacon Hills and the things that it draws. It starts out solemn, but the two of them always manage to end the night with a smile on their faces knowing that Allison and everyone else that was lost would be happy seeing where they are now.

Scott wasn't hardened by years of necessity and a lifetime of having to deal with a father like Gerard. He still wore his heart on his sleeve. That was a hard habit to break away from. When he liked something, he'd still bounce, and when he was sad, he'd still pout. He couldn't help it. Chris, on the other hand, had to force his reactions a little more. Stoicism was in his nature after years of training. At times, Scott couldn't help but think that being a hunter had made Chris cold in some ways. Others, Chris had to think of how immature Scott was for not being able to control his reactions more easily.
