Befriend Me: I will write a drabble about our characters meeting for the first time in an AU.

Summary:  Main AU because I DON’T THINK WE’VE DONE A THREAD WHERE LAUREN AND HONEY MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I’M EXCITED SO HAVE THIS~ 

Word count: Words of 480

It’s been a week or two after joining SFIT, and Lauren’s been busy just like any other student that attends this college. Always searching for new ideas for inventions and new ways to impress the Professors. Attending classes and avoiding dangerous situations like blowing yourself up with your own invention. But right now, after a long morning, it was finally lunch time, and Lauren was very hungry. She decided to head over to the cafeteria and grab something to eat. The main lab was mostly empty at this time, so she didn’t think anyone was in here… That is.. until she heard a voice.

“Excuse me~!” A girl named Aiko shouts in a sing song voice. Lauren has seen her around a lot, but the brunette was mostly in her lab, so she didn’t really socialize with anyone unless she was done for the day, “Coming though~!” But one thing’s for sure, this girl was bubbly and very stylish.

As Aiko began to speed towards her direction, Lauren didn’t have time to fulling move out of the path of the giant black ball this person was rolling around. So, in result of her slowness this morning, she gets a wake up call. And by wake up call, I mean the giant ball this girl was rolling around rolled over her right foot, sending signals of sharp and agonizing pain that numbed her whole body except her foot, “MOTHER–!” Her voice echoes. She bites her tongue, stopping herself before she cussed out loud (but she still said it in her mind). She puffs out her cheeks and holds her breath for a couple of seconds.

“Ow! Ow! Ow!” Lauren lets out, causing Aiko to stop in her tracks and turn around. Her green eyes widen. Seeing the girl hopping and holding one of her feet.

“Oh my gosh!” Aiko parked the ball of tungsten carbine, approaching the distressed Lauren in her platform high heels, “Are you okay?!”

Lauren laughs off the pain, hopping on her left foot as she held onto her throbbing right foot. “Y-yeah.. I’m, um.. okay…” She bites down on her bottom lip, crouching down.

“Here! let me help you.” Aiko wraps her arm around Lauren’s waist and helps her to a nearby.. well.. anything, so Lauren could sit down and take all the pressure off of her foot. “I am so, so, so sorry.” She apologizes, approaching the couch and gently places Lauren on the leather this couch was covered in.

“It’s fine.” Does this call for an introduction? I think it does. “Um.. My name’s Lauren… Lauren Lee.” 

“I’m Aiko.” The blonde smiles brightly. 

“Pleasure to meet you, Aiko.” Lauren gave a small smile back. She found it rather hard not to stay mad at Aiko. I mean, just because she rolled a giant ball of tungsten carbine over your foot doesn’t mean she did it on propose.

Tadashi was working the cafe alone, cleaning up after a long day. It was about half an hour until closing time, so the cafe was mostly empty. The radio, which Aunt Cass always had tuned to music, suddenly started beeping. A man’s voice played over it. 

“URGENT! THIS IS AN URGENT MESSAGE. Due to heavy rains from the past week, particularly today, there is slight flooding in our streets. Authorities advise you to stay calm and stay inside, wherever you are.  Another message will be sent out when it is safe to go outside. Thank you.” The radio cut back to music, which Tadashi lowered the volume of as he hurried to the main part of the cafe to see if anyone was there.

“Honey! I didn’t know you were still here.” he smiled at the blonde. Even though he felt bad about her having to stay in the cafe, he was glad that he wasn’t alone.

Shania looked outside the taxi as she pulled up outside of the school. Thanking the driver she quickly got up getting her stuff as she got out and looked around “Wow….this is amazing !"She said excited before she spotted Honey and ran over to her "Honey Senpai !”

"Ahem… Oh! - Uh, Honey Lemon? It’s, - Uh - It’s Tadashi. I don’t have time to call all of the gang, and you were the first person I thought of so… So I called you. You’ve probably realised I’m not at the - the hospital and are wondering where I am, maybe you’ve found me. But the truth is I don’t know. Where I am. Uh, A-Aiko I’ve - I’ve been shot. Uhm, and just - just in case I don’t, you know, make it. Tell Aunt Cass she was the best mother me and Hiro could have asked for and the gang thanks for putting up with me… Aiko, don’t let them grieve too long, okay? Especially Hiro. Watch out for him in my stead, would you? Okay? A-And Hiro, let him know that if he misses another day of schoo-"

He dropped his voice low, looking around them. "Why exactly are we hiding again?" he asked, glancing over the desk they were currently ducked behind in one of the SFIT classrooms. Not that he didn't love spending time with Honey Lemon, but it was a bit strange to have been yanked into the room by her out of the blue.

"Did the programming nerds challenge the robotics lab to another water fight?"

What I think about their blog: thechxmist is so fantab! I'm really glad to be following them. I haven't seen much of their portrayal, but from what I have seen, they're a very good roleplayer who's understands Honey's character. The mun is also such a sweetheart and extremely considerate. You should totally follow them because they know what's up.
