What’s for Dinner?
Here at The Classic Kitchen we are having a Thai Beef Stew served over zucchini ribbons for dinner. The crock pot is loaded and cooking away. It smells really good in here!
Hurry Up Fall!
We at The Classic Kitchen are tired of summer’s heat and ready for cooler weather. We are going to try to create a paleo-friendly soup this fall by making chicken “noodle” soup with squash ribbons to replace the egg noodles. Sounds yummy, huh?
Tip:
Do you meal plan at your house? We do! It seems cumbersome at first, but once you find your routine, it's simple! We plan our weekly meals for dinner by using each of these at each meal: 1. palm sized piece of protein (or egg), 2. fill the rest of the plate with veggies, 3. serving of fruit, 4. healthy fat (olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil or an avocado). Doing this keeps us on track at the grocery store and keeps our “classic kitchen” running smoothly during the week. Give it a try! You can do it.......
