"You were right." (for rose!)
“ I usually am. But what about this time? ” Rose joked, looking up from the tea table with curious blue eyes at the tone Margot had used. In front of her, the best of the best; cakes, tea, incense to take out the bad smell coming from the stables just a few meters to the left. She'd refused to have this moment back in the house when summer was upon them; An actress was appaling company, her mother would have said openly, and Rose would only shake her head. If only she knew of Rose's dream of doing the same. Of presenting on a stage; of doing it in the small closed streets when traveling to Paris, whenever she could, with easy excuses of finding the latest fashion. Margot was lucky; she was, at least of all that Rose knew, free. “ Did you get the part? Tell me at once, or I'll die of curiosity! ” Her french was pristine, though her accent now melted, hands going forward to grip her friend to sit down.
