Idk, Charlie. The whole series and movies are separate timelines kinda bothers me. I mean the series universe just stopped at that point and only in the rebellion universe time and events passed. And wasn't Madoka 's wish to take away witches from past and future from all the timelines, thus erasing her existence from all universes, also actually from what we saw Madoka and the other girls saved by the law of cycles were singular entities with the knowledge from all the timelines.(1/2)
Because if this wouldn't be the case than Sayaka shouldn't be able to remember Madoka at the end of the series, because she was from the wraith dimension, since the original Sayaka died before Madoka made her wish. Also IF Madoka wished in every dimension that she will erase witches from all timelines(alternate universes) it means Madoka again is a singular force which means it shouldn't be possible for more Madokami to exist because it would mean that in a universe a Madoka wished only to (2/3)
Clean her own timeline which means that Sayaka and the other girls shouldn't be able to remember all of the timelines, or if they did,it would mean that Mami and Kyouko(or a girl like Suzune if I'm right)couldn't eventually remember Madoka because they died by naturalish ways thus they couldn't recover the memories from alternate version of themselves from universes were they eventually became witches because Madoka wished for only her dimension and so we covered how the law of cycles work.(3/4)
If there is only one Madokami. We could think that Homura actually tooked away Madoka, it either means that in one universe Homura Akuma has power over Madoka, which means in the AU where rebellion never tooked place there is a lonely Homura turning into a witch and no hope for Mami and Sayaka because there is no one to save them (which is terrible in my opinion). Or she only tooked the Madoka from her universe, but wouldn't that allert the rest of her soul or something? (4/5).
Or how she came alone as I said the law of cycles is like a fusion between Madoka-s from every timeline because she can't exist in neither of them. Did Madoka from universe "X" broke from the rest of her soul somehow and alone went to save Homu? I'm sorry Charlie I wish more then anybody for everything to be fixed, but at this point there is to complicated to pull such a cheap tactic, that "everything happened in the realm of Oz so is not 100% canon".(this is like 5 or something?)
Things either don't make sens or contradict themselves. At this point all of my hopes are in the concept movie. I'm sorry this was so long I thought I could make it shorter.(6?)
See, the thing can be, when Madokami created her universe she resetted EVERYTHING, all previous timelines got erased and thus this new universe started from literally 0 and when time began, all alternate timeles and divisions began ocurring, one of them being the one we see in the movies and Rebellion.
As for the Madokami thing....that would depend on how powerful Madokami is, if she is completely Omnipotent, then it’s not hard to imagine every universe has an interpretation of her, and in the movies universe, Akuma Homura took Madokami yes...but.....that’s not the entirety of Madokami, there is still a Meta Madokami entity for ALL universe and she manifests in different ways across all universes, but it is always through their perspective and they are unable to witness beyond their own universe, so Akuma Homura would not be able to know that there is still a Madokami in a meta sense across the entire Madokami Universe.
I know...confusing...but I’ve seen something like this done before in other series (Can’t remember where thought) so it’d make sene if it was like this.
