What's today? It's update day! :D
Hi everbody,
This week we worked on mostly back-end stuff, like the website and some tweaks to snake and industries. Nothing special happened this week and next week we might have something for you, that will be more interesting. That's really all for this week. Tune in next week for some serious shit :D

Anyhow, it's time for the neeeewwws! This week we have a lot of great updates for you guys! So lets start off with something we've been announcing for weeks now:
- Snake is now officially released! Yay! You can now download Snake and play it for yourself. Links down below.
- New team members! Yay! We have 2 new team members who will join the graphics department: Naner and Anne! *big round of applause*
- And now for the big announcement of the week: *drums*
TheCodeBoat website has now officially launched. Come by and look at what's going on. Project downloads and more information can be found locally now at www.thecodeboat.org
Phew! That was a lot of announcements this week. Next week there will be less new stuff but nonetheless cool. So stay tuned until then! :D
Delayed weekly update
Hi everybody!
This weekly update is brought to you by system failures and backup errors :D This week, Snowsun continued to work on his "Snake Game" and implemented a highscore system.
We're also planning to release "Snake" by the end of next week (hopefully with the next friday-post).

It's friday again!
Happy new year to everybody! We hope you had some great days off. We surely did. Not much has happened since the last friday post, but we can announce today that we're planning a new plugin for Minecraft! What it will be is a secret. When it will be released is unknown. But we're excited to start this new project soon. We might not see a big development in january, since at the end of this month it's exam season here in Germany. Anyhow in february we can focus more on the new plugin and maybe we'll have something ready by march. So stay tuned for more updates on this, and be the first to know what's going on. Until next friday then :D

Hello again. We're back for another friday update on what's going on.
Snowsun has been busy working on Snake and with the help of Naner we got some new graphics going on, take a look:
Also Snowsun is now helping Wyrez to code their game Shooting Stars (shootingstars.wyrez.org) check it out! :D
Next friday there's no friday-blog-post. We're taking a little vacation. We also wish you all merry christmas and a happy new year! See you next year, folks ;)

This weeks post is all about current projects. Snowsun wrote a "Snake Game" in Java! Here is a picture of what it looks like currently:
Pretty sweet :D Our game Industries is also being worked on by Ruben, who is constantly adding new exciting features! We will post more about "Industries" in the coming weeks. In other news: Today is the CodeBoat Christmas Party! The team meets up and celebrates together, talks and exchanges ideas about new projects we can start! If we will create a new Bukkit Mod or start coding a game is yet undecided. Stay tuned for more updates on these projects next friday! :)
Meeting and a new direction
This coming week we will have a meeting about where we want to go from here. Over the summer period we want to use the time for intense programming. If we get accepted for the Leap Motion Development Kit we will use it to make some awesome controls for our game which is launching development in the very near future. A new game that is currently under development by Ruben will launch into Public Alpha in mid-june. We're excited to make these announcements and hope that everything keeps on going as well as it is right now :)
The future of The Code Boat
A lot of planing has gone into our next steps and heres what we will do in the next fiscal year: Our Bukkit development will be slowed down to make room for a big project: developing a SAMP server for Platin-Gaming.de! And we're looking for more, talented developers that want to join us! So if you live in the Reutlingen/Esslingen/Stuttgart area contact McWaffel via E-Mail at [email protected] If more Javacoder will join us we will start increasing our Bukkit development again over the coming fiscal year.
