What's today? It's update day! :D
Hi everbody,
This week we worked on mostly back-end stuff, like the website and some tweaks to snake and industries. Nothing special happened this week and next week we might have something for you, that will be more interesting. That's really all for this week. Tune in next week for some serious shit :D

In case you don't understand the headline, you're probably not German, that's why.
Anyhow, it's time for the neeeewwws! This week we have a lot of great updates for you guys! So lets start off with something we've been announcing for weeks now:
- Snake is now officially released! Yay! You can now download Snake and play it for yourself. Links down below.
- New team members! Yay! We have 2 new team members who will join the graphics department: Naner and Anne! *big round of applause*
- And now for the big announcement of the week: *drums*
TheCodeBoat website has now officially launched. Come by and look at what's going on. Project downloads and more information can be found locally now at www.thecodeboat.org
Phew! That was a lot of announcements this week. Next week there will be less new stuff but nonetheless cool. So stay tuned until then! :D
Delayed weekly update
Hi everybody!
This weekly update is brought to you by system failures and backup errors :D This week, Snowsun continued to work on his "Snake Game" and implemented a highscore system.
We're also planning to release "Snake" by the end of next week (hopefully with the next friday-post).
Also we're working on something big in the next week so stay tuned for a big announcement! Next friday will be awesome! :D The Code Boat Team
It's friday again!
Happy new year to everybody! We hope you had some great days off. We surely did. Not much has happened since the last friday post, but we can announce today that we're planning a new plugin for Minecraft! What it will be is a secret. When it will be released is unknown. But we're excited to start this new project soon. We might not see a big development in january, since at the end of this month it's exam season here in Germany. Anyhow in february we can focus more on the new plugin and maybe we'll have something ready by march. So stay tuned for more updates on this, and be the first to know what's going on. Until next friday then :D

Hello again. We're back for another friday update on what's going on.
Snowsun has been busy working on Snake and with the help of Naner we got some new graphics going on, take a look:
Also Snowsun is now helping Wyrez to code their game Shooting Stars (shootingstars.wyrez.org) check it out! :D
Next friday there's no friday-blog-post. We're taking a little vacation. We also wish you all merry christmas and a happy new year! See you next year, folks ;)

This weeks post is all about current projects. Snowsun wrote a "Snake Game" in Java! Here is a picture of what it looks like currently:
Pretty sweet :D Our game Industries is also being worked on by Ruben, who is constantly adding new exciting features! We will post more about "Industries" in the coming weeks. In other news: Today is the CodeBoat Christmas Party! The team meets up and celebrates together, talks and exchanges ideas about new projects we can start! If we will create a new Bukkit Mod or start coding a game is yet undecided. Stay tuned for more updates on these projects next friday! :)
REBOOTING...!
Hello ladies and gentlemen! It has been a very VERY long time since we, the CodeBoat did anything on this tumblr or else project wise! With the start of the new year 2014, the CodeBoat will be relaunched! Wether we pick up support for dropped software or start all new projects has yet to be decided. But stay tuned for more news and information now with weekly updates on this blog every friday!
Meeting and a new direction
This coming week we will have a meeting about where we want to go from here. Over the summer period we want to use the time for intense programming. If we get accepted for the Leap Motion Development Kit we will use it to make some awesome controls for our game which is launching development in the very near future. A new game that is currently under development by Ruben will launch into Public Alpha in mid-june. We're excited to make these announcements and hope that everything keeps on going as well as it is right now :)
New member!
From this week on Ruben will be part of The Code Boat. He will be involved in PHP coding and is currently working on a big project. In the next few weeks there will be a second meeting, where we will discuss about the current state of ongoing projects and how we want to continue development. The meeting is set for the end of may.
The future of The Code Boat
A lot of planing has gone into our next steps and heres what we will do in the next fiscal year: Our Bukkit development will be slowed down to make room for a big project: developing a SAMP server for Platin-Gaming.de! And we're looking for more, talented developers that want to join us! So if you live in the Reutlingen/Esslingen/Stuttgart area contact McWaffel via E-Mail at [email protected] If more Javacoder will join us we will start increasing our Bukkit development again over the coming fiscal year. Our plugins will be up to date at all times! We will not stop developing for Bukkit, we simply will slow down the development. Thanks for your support and help! The Code Boat

The Code Boat will soon release more, awesome Plugins that you will want! We hope that by the end of this week we will be able to release this new, incredibly useful plugin that will enrich everyones Minecraft Multiplayer experience (except the Griefers of course *hint*hint*)

McWaffel returns!
McWaffel returned from the USA today! He will now be more active and involved in the coding processes and is now focusing on 3D design.
We're happy that he is back home now and we're heading fast towards new releases so stay tuned!

Version 1.3 is now released! Sorry for the confusion with the downloadlinks in v1.2. We are thrilled to present you multithreading in this update! Also we added a new function! These are the new changes: - Added heal function (see commands for help) - Added Multithreading (Mutliple players slow the plugin down fixed) - Several minor bugfixes Thanks for your support and please post suggestions and keep supporting us! Curse v1.2 released!
Please welcome v1.2! We worked hard on this update and are proud to present you the following new feature: - Optional timer for length of curse v1.3 is already being tested and will be released later this week.
