It's been a while since posting any book reviews, I'm getting very close to baby arriving and being sick I've just been distracted but here's probably one of my last reviews for a while 🙈 reading Darkdawn put me into a book hangover but this book helped me out so it's definitely deserving of a place in my feed 🖤 The Day I Died is a fantastic apocalyptic, dystopian read. It follows the journey of sheltered city girl Oshin out beyond the wall of her cities safety and into the world of the undead, ravangers, faceless and the sinister goings on that start to unravel as she sees and learns more and more. Fans of The Walking Dead and From Dusk till Dawn would really enjoy this! It's got a solid storyline, plot twists, interesting characters and relationship building as well as a good amount of violence/gore you'd come to expect from this genre. My only major qualm is the continued use of the word "drug" instead of "dragged". Psychological thrillers appeals to me more than romance... Sadistic? Masochistic? Psychotic? Oh lawd.
