+ she's an active conversationalist! though she has intense fixations (and will indeed talk your ear off about them), she's also a wonderful listener, and she retains (most of) the information you tell her and actively engages in the conversation. A pause. The track of thought of whatever he was going to say was completely pushed to the side now as the scientist's statement sunk in. He'd blink a few times, there was no way that what just was said was reality, he must have misheard him. Confusion would make itself apparent on Trunks's end, his expression of frustration swapped out for that of befuddlement.

"I-I'm sorry... Did you say I was within kissing distance?" He's not offended, but it's clear he doesn't know how to feel about the statement. He couldn't even remember why exactly this argument had started, but now he was going to address this "threat" of being kissed.

Already the wanderer looked uneasy; her already antelope-like traits seeming all the more apparent as her muscles locked together and peculiar, elongated pupils darted over the scientist. "Your spirit carries traces of...not quite darkness." Her claw tapped at the bottom of her lip thoughtfully. At least, not quite like that of the traitorous ancestral stars. "Mischief? Chaos..." The latter was a better fit perhaps.

Calypso gave her head a hard shake, freeing herself of that raw instinct. "Forgive me. You are unlike others I have crossed paths with. You are unique, and I admit I find the sharpness of your eyes, your silvery, silken hair, and your..." Her gaze dragged slowly towards his muscular chest before clearing her throat. "Well-sculpted form attractive." She gave him a wry, sheepish grin. "You are quite appealing to the eyes, yes."
