Quick progress update on "The Descent"
Cause I've had a few asks and messages about it from some awesome kind and supportive folks. 🙏 Thank you!
Apologies it's taking a minute, if I'm being honest this next Chapter of "The Descent" is kicking my ass and life has been busy recently. I have been plugging away at it where possible, but I only usually get a couple of hours here and there for writing each week.
Good news though, it will be a VERY long chapter compared to the others so hopefully the wait will be worth it. 🍽️
I had to laugh, I was wondering why I was finding it so hard to get this chapter complete in a similar amount of time compared to all the others hahah and it's because it's nearly 10k words already 🤡 (that's nearly all the current story combined or 4x as long as the other chapters on average) and I don't want to rush it, I want it to be good and rich and complex but also hopefully have it make sense and be enjoyable to read.
Thanks to everyone who has been supportive and patient with me. 🙏 I am doing my best to make something fun and exciting to share and hopefully for you to enjoy, unfortunately sometimes semi decent writing and inspo doesn't play nice with a planned schedule. But I'm doing my best to whip it into line ; )
Then I'll move onto updating the next chapter of "Inhospitable Ground" because I've had a few people really excited about that, (and bc also it's one I super enjoy writing).
So TL;DR I'm working on it, I don't got alota time to work on it though, so it's slow going but we are making progress! Hopefully will spit somethin out soon!
