Lately I’ve noticed that when something upsets me, bothers me, provokes me, or causes me to feel a certain kind of way it has been difficult for me to pull myself back to the Presence of #God. But what’s interesting is that in John chapter 14 it talks about the #Spirit of God living on the inside of us, and when I meditated on this understanding the #question that came to #mind was, “if the Spirit of God lives on the inside of us, and the Spirit of God hold His presence, then when we leave shouldn’t the presence of God leave with us?” If this is so then many of us like myself never really leave the presence of God when we fall into emotions, but instead reject His presence when we are confronted with various trials. For those who accepted #Jesus, the presence of God is in us, and it’s around us, and where ever we good that presence should go also. When we present our #bodies to the #Lord as living #sacrifices, then we’ve prepared a #temple in our bodies for the presence of God to dwell. (Today I felt so convicted on how I’ve allowed things to bother me, I should continually be unbothered, Father forgive me). Instead of embracing His tender love, mercy, and #comfort we often reject Him to embrace our fleshly revolt.
