Vasant and I are home from a wonderful day.
We got up very early this morning and watched Jurassic Park before work. After work, we went down to Pike Place, walked around in the sunshine, had sandwiches at Seabar and lattes at La Panier. Then we met up with Will for The Avengers and treated him out to sake and sushi afterwards. He brought us back an amazing statue from his trip to Japan. We caught up on his trip, life, movies and discussed whether or not we could ever successfully get Will into the Muppets (I said yes, but Will's fighting me on it). After leaving the city, Vasant and I drove around and sang along with our favorite songs, our voices jumping out of our open windows and into the warm night air. Also, we had too much green tea along with our sake. So we're home now and debating whether or not to watch Aliens or Back to the Future... I feel like we're doing things right.
