I am hoping for some advice. I have a rat who's cage mate has passed away. I have tried multiple times to bond him with other rats, but he always becomes aggressive and injures the other rats. His cage mate was the only rat he ever bonded with. I have gotten him neutered but he is still very aggressive towards other rats. I don't want him to live alone, but I'm at a loss for what to do. He is not aggressive towards people and is a total love bug, and I can tell he is sad being alone. Any ideas?

What bonding methods have you tried? Here is a link to some: http://www.isamurats.co.uk/introducing-rats.html (however I don’t recommend the cage-swap method especially with aggressive rats)

If you’ve done introductions properly and he is still injuring them (as in, making them bleed? aggression is common in intros but blood is the sign it’s definitely not working) then maybe he’ll have to stay on his own. However, the fact that you say he’s definitely sad on his own makes me think you should keep on trying. How recently was he neutered? I’ve read it can take a month or so for them to calm down after a neutering. 

If nothing works and he is definitely injuring them then he may have to stay on his own, at least for a while before trying again. Just make sure you’re spending as much time with him as possible. It’s not ideal but sometimes rats just refuse to bond.

he has! in the french dub, not english dub. in evillisturator he called her “princess” when he arrived at her door
