dean giving cas the mixtape and cas carrying it around in his pocket for weeks before dean asks nervously, "did you listen to it?" and cas gets all bashful and mutters, "i dont know how," and dean slides his hand around cas' wrist and tugs him towards the impala saying, "let me show you," and together they take a drive in Baby listening to the mixtape full of zeppelin love songs that dean hand-picked for cas

okay but one day Dean Winchester literally made the conscious decison that he was going to make a mixtape for Cas. Like he sat down in his room with the door closed and meticulously combed through his favorite songs and put them onto a cASSETTE tape, knowing the implication that automatically comes with that action and all with the sole purpose of giving it to Cas. This is the most insane thing I've ever heard. We have no idea exactly when or where or how he gave it to Cas, and we aren't even told what's on it, but we know he made it specifically FOR Cas, and Cas alone. And I'm just not supposed to think about it every single day of my life????

Then, with his signature curious head tilt, Castiel asks, "Why?"
