Today's #igquiltfest theme is #quiltsinthewild - and, with Easter just a few weeks away, it seemed perfect to share my Risen quilt! I photographed this at our local beach, and love how the colors of the quilt blend into the ocean and sand. I used the colors of a sunrise in creating it, and it's easy to imagine the sunrise (or, in my case, the sunset) over the ocean. Taking photos of quilts outdoors has to be one of the more fun parts of a finish - it's like a mini hunt to find the perfect location for a photo! #risen #theeasterstory #igquiltfestday20
