I finished the final edit of my manuscript which means more time for art, hoorayyyy. And of course, to start my next project. But for now it’s time to rest my creative brain and do a bunch of nothing.
This new piercing is hella upping my game, I barely even got dressed today and I still look put together cause I have a jewel in my face. You know only fancy people wear that shit.

This was originally done because I am emo trashhhh and I wanted to draw snowflakes on my D&D character's eyelashes like Davey Havoc's in AFI's Love like Winter music video. For some reason when I redid it a few years later, I thought "Oh, it's snowing, so his skin would be cold, aka paler", which... no? And yeah, it makes it look like some gross ass whitewashing. But naw, it was just my lack of skill. I redid it with a more fitting character for the piece, an *~*~*~aCtuAL eMo*~*~ I'm just never going to grow out of this emo phase rofl.

I think this is the best portrait piece I’ve ever done? Like I am so proud of this one. I was getting a real Kat Blaque vibe once I finished the braids and thought about doing a bunch of colors like the mermaid ones she had at one point but like- I’m glad I didn’t cause that would’ve taken some focus away from the highlights.

This was meant to go up Wednesday. I feel a bit bad since I wanted to be back on schedule, but unfortunately my apartment complex is hitting me with some transphobic bullshit right now we’re having to deal with.
Soooooooooo some alcohol happened and instead of uploading it, I accidentally printed it? I mean, my heart was in the right place, I guess. And now I have a nice print I didn’t know I wanted. Or needed. For the longest time I was like compulsively drawing boys- like- a really specific body type, which I've heard is pretty common among transfolk. As I get closer to looking like that, I like that my art's evolving.

Surgery knocked me out for a good while, then some life stuff happened and boy oh booooooy it’s been a while since I’ve been able to sit down at my computer and work.
