Exodus 20:1-3

And the Lord spoke all these words:

"I am the Lord your God , who brought you out of Egypt , out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. "

Our God is El Shaddai - the Lord Almighty . He is deserving of the highest honor and reverence and praise. Remind us daily oh Lord of the pit you rescued us from. Remind us daily of what it cost your Son to die in our place. Remind of the torment and agony of our King to reconcile us to himself. May we live each day putting the Lord Almighty first ! Grant us the grace to live not from a place of duty but from a place of love and thankfulness each and everyday. Grant us the grace to renounce every idol in our life that exalts itself against the name of Christ .
