So my self imposed semi-hiatus is officially over. Work has finally started to be manageable. I feel extremely bad for how crappy and sporadic my activity has been. I really want to get back into rping, especially with the partners I formed good connections with, and I’m super sorry for letting you guys and gals down.

Flash stumbled and stopped, leaning against a brick wall as he heaved for air. “I can get over the fact that people attack the city every fucking minute, but if I have to run one more second, fuck it I’ll sacrifice myself!”

“Hey, relax” Peter grabbed Flash’s arm, trying to hold him in place. He knew the other teen was scared, but he couldn’t let someone else get hurt - even if it was someone who picked on him and bullied him most of the time. “If we just stay still and hide they won’t see us.”

Peter had tried to sneak away a few times. His increasing desperation was his clear downfall, with the NYC police bullpen covered in cameras and catching his every move. Peter hung his head, running his fingers through his ever frizzing hair. He knew he looked like a mess, looked like he was doing so much worse than he felt. He had only been in this world for so long but the stolen jeans and hoodie that covered him was already spotted and stained.

“Mr. Parker,” An officer said. Peter turned his face in his hands. “Someone is here for you.”

Arnold waved him off, “Don’t worry about it, kid, it wa any offer. No need to pay me back. I’ll call Gene too, he won’t be bothering you anymore.” Even though him and Flash had their fair share of sibling bullying, it was his job to steer his little brother in the right direction.

Peter hummed I’m agreement more than ready to have the other off his back for once. “Thanks man.. are you sure? I mean I feel kinda bad ordering all this food and not paying you back somehow” he stated smiling at the waitress as she cane back with water for him.

Peter and Ned were alright on their own, passing the weighted ball back and forth. Peter had to fake his breath, trying to seem as tired and out of it as Ned was. At least was easier now, the cuts healing up nice and neat, a bit too fast for his human comfort and yet, so comforting for his ... less... human side. 

Something hit the back of his head and he grunted, dropping his ball to the ground to rub the achey spot. He frowned, turning around to see the group of laughing teens, and of course, Flash. “What do you want now?!”
