The Flowers Of War (2011)

The meaning of being the "flowers" changes as the film goes on and I found myself thinking about it as the lives of very different people intersect in that time of war. Though a fictional story, the film captured true emotions which the Nanking Massacre may have really had.

This is the time the mortician is changing the faces of the prostitutes to that of schoolgirls who sings as a choir to save the real ones from harm. It showed that whatever they do in life does not matter, life is what matters. In the end, I thought that everyone are all flowers, because all of them fought for their lives. aw.
