She shivered and glanced up at the sky as snowflakes fell lazily around her. Frowning slightly, she sighed heavily, her breath fogging up in front of her as she fixed the heavy black coat around her and rubbed her hands to create as much warmth as she could.
It had been almost two weeks since she had heard any word from him. She had started to worry about him, but there was nothing she could do.
Stuffing her hands into her pockets, she walked down the sidewalk. The pure white snow crunched under her boots as she made her way to the shop, in hopes that he had just been asleep the entire time and that she didn't have to worry anymore.
The shop came into view, the building almost seemingly melting in with the grey sky. Another shiver, and she quickened her pace and walked up the steps. A gloved hand was pulled out from her pocket and she knocked on the metal door before she opened it, the ear-piercing metallic screech filling the room.
