As my countdown has started before I leave to Russia on Friday to climb #elbrus with @alpineascents, I extended my weekend a couple of days at our home @fridayharbourliving ... well I did log into the office all day remotely. But being up here, let’s me relax a little and as the day comes to an end, I grabbed my copy of #canadianrunning magazine, the April & March issue... yes I hadn’t had time to read it and yes running and climbing are relaxing! The training for each activity keep me focused and motivated. As I browse through the magazine I saw the ad for the 10th anniversary for #torontowomensrun series and I realized this was the first race that I ever ran. A 5km. I didn’t even like running and now I think it’s great and I aspire to run the #bostonmarathon and of course the #newyorkmarathon. Just like wine! I never liked wine! But there is lots of nice wines to be savoured and a glass looks great by the dock. But back to running... a nice practice run on August 25 and/or October 13 sounds nice, in preparation for #stwm on October 27. There is a #firefighters water station!!!! Do you need an excuse? Sign up to run at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, the charity challenge, then choose @peaksforchange as your charity, and let’s start training!
