Aww thanks so much!! Sorry I didn’t get around to this sooner, this week’s been kind of rough (I spent yesterday unable to do anything because migraines) but I’m so glad you like my art! I work really hard on my expressions, and I’m glad it’s paying off! And aww, I like her hair too! :3 I think I was a tiny bit inspired by Sailor Moon when I was designing it, tbh, but it still works okay! ^^;;

Oh most definitely. Nick would think it’s awesome (though, he can probably do the same to Emilie, tbh). Lizzie would attempt to act unimpressed, but she’s secretly not unimpressed, and Skye knows it.

What's Sequoia's vocal range?

Sequoia is a soprano! She has, on one occasion, been mistaken for a boy soprano, which was a rather bemusing experience. She has a pretty good chest register too, but the easiest notes live in the upper two thirds of the staff.

Hello friend, I have a question about Boughs Too Slight, that being this: If real world comedians existed in the BTS universe, who would Sequoia be influenced by?

Okay I like this question a lot, and my answer will only be diminished by the fact that for someone who went “sure let me write a character who does standup comedy :D” I don’t actually consume a lot of standup comedy ^^;

There’s definitely some John Mulaney in Sequoia’s jokes, and probably a dash of Aziz Ansari, but the real-life comedian she is most like would probably be Rhea Butcher. I’m honestly considering rewriting some of Sequoia’s performances later in the story now that I’m aware of Butcher’s work.

And maybe there’s a little of Tina Fey & co, too, because “werewolf bar mitzvah” is exactly the level of brief iconic bit that Sequoia aspires to.
