This morning, I asked the cards “What does Spirit want me to know?” I drew the 3 of Cups, the Hierophant and Hermit from The Gentle Tarot. 🌟 First and foremost, I am not alone in all of this. I am surrounded by a circle of friends and family, help and support. Even though I am on a journey that will bring me to new places, I am not on my own. There are others who walk beside me. 🌟 I also need to take some time to listen to my Spirit more often. I can’t keep listening to the will of the mind and the worries that it holds. I need to know that my Spirit supports and cares for me and that it is a light within the dark, always shining brightly. 🌟 I should be taking more time for myself, to allow myself to connect with my Spirit and the cosmos that I hold within me. I am filled with stardust and magic and I need to stop and look at the stars within and the wisdom that I hold. 🌟 It’s so easy to forget that I’m not alone on my journey and lose sight of what truly matters in all of this. I am a being that is full of so much light and love and I need to remember that as much as I show others love, I have to love myself. This morning, I asked the cards "What do I need to know about forgiving myself?" I drew the 4 of Stones (Pentacles) from The Gentle Tarot. 🐟 I tend to hold on to the memory of every slight that I've done and that has been done to me. While I'm really good at forgiving other people, I have a really difficult time with forgiving myself. I hold on to the memories because I think I need to, that I can't let myself forget because these memories are supposed to teach me something about myself. 🐟 A woman sits in front of four Stones in a moment of reflection. She holds on to the Stones and listens to the water moving behind her. However, she isn't focused on the water or the salmon swimming by her. She holds on to the Stones as if they were a wall. For whatever reason, she is protecting herself. 🐟 Like the woman in this card, I've been so focused on what came before and have been letting a part of myself live in the past. I need to remember that my body is sacred and part of forgiving others is forgiving myself. This morning, I asked the cards "How can I embrace the unknown?" I drew the Sun from The Gentle Tarot. I think the thing I've come to fear is the unknown of what will happen. It could be nothing, I could have no reactions or I could have all of them. There is no way of knowing what will happen or the shape of the mountains in front of me. However, I've done this before. The Sun wants me to remember the joy I felt when I stepped back into the light again after such a long time in the dark. As the Sun's rays shone down upon me, filling up the places that still had lingering shadows. That light is still within me and around me, it hasn't left me. To embrace the unknown, I have to shine light upon it so that I will come to know the terrain well, every rock and cliff of the mountain before me. Only then will I be able to climb to the top and feel the glow of the Sun. I've done this before and I will do so again. This morning, I asked the cards "What journey am I beginning today?" I drew the 9 of Wands from The Gentle Tarot. A Lynx hides behind the wormwood that grows, almost invisible in the moonlight. This is a stance of protection. It relies on all it knows to watch and to listen. The Lynx thrives because it survives. This will not be an easy journey, but I am stronger than I know. I must rely on my inner strength and resilience so that I can see my way forwards. This month is all about taking my time, about listening to my spirit and being aware of my body. I have to remember that my space is sacred and that it's okay to protect myself but I need to listen to my body, mind and spirit to make sure that I am still on the right path. This will be a long journey and protection starts from within. As I begin the countdown to my medication change, I know that it's also a change of life for me. Yes, I am afraid, but I know that I have also been through so much and survived everything that was put into my path, regardless of what it was. I survived because I protected myself and I persevered. Whatever happens, my spirit is strong and my light shines so brightly. I will survive and thrive and I will trust in myself. This morning, i asked the cards "How do I let go and let good?" I drew the Hermit from The Gentle Tarot. What a beautiful card for today! ⭐ I was filled with worry yesterday after my appointment with my neurologist. It's the not knowing that throws me off balance. However, I can't sit with worry for ten days until I get my results. That would undo me. ⭐ The Hermit is asking me to sit in my own company and look to the stars around me. The Fox sits in his den and the walla are covered in stars. He looks to them for answers and so he can find his way. ⭐ What I am hearing from the Hermit is that I am not lost in worry, I have only to find my way through it. I will learn what I can from it and then release it to the stars that surround me. This morning, I asked the cards "What can I expect today?" I drew the 6 of Wands from The Gentle Tarot. What a gorgeous card for today! 🌟 A woman rides an eagle through the air, the sky full of light. Six laurel leaves fall through the air in celebration. There is joy in this card. I love how the woman's arms are thrown out in celebration, as if she is welcoming what is to come. 🌟 This is a card of victory. I have an appointment with my neurologist this afternoon and while I always love seeing them, there is always the small worry that new liesons have developed and my MS has worsened. I've been in so much pain lately that I don't know where I begin and where the pain ends. 🌟 This card is letting me know that regardless of the outcome of today's appointment, I will be fine. This morning, I asked the cards "How do I celebrate who I am becoming?" I drew the Flower of Thunder and Stones or the Queen of Swords and Pentacles from The Gentle Tarot. ⭐ The Flower of Thunder is a repeat card from the other day. It shows an eagle taking hold of the lighting, rising above the storm flying in the air. The Flower of Stones shows me a grizzly bear. They swim peacefully in the water able to support themselves by holding onto a log. She is calmness and peace, acceptance and growth. ⭐ Whereas the Flower of Thunder brings clarity and Illumination, helping me to see past the storms of the mind so that I can see my path forwards, the Flower of Stones wants me to feel at peace within my body, to let the cool water wash away all thoughts of imperfection. Whereas the eagle asks me to celebrate my thoughts, the bear asks me to celebrate my body and all that it can accomplish. ⭐ Together they are unified and they are two halves of myself. I am both the eagle, able to harness my thoughts and the bear, able to ground myself. I drew the Flower of Thunder or the Queen of Swords from The Gentle Tarot. 🗡 The Eagle has risen above thr storm to look down at the havoc it it causing. She grabs hold of the lighting with her talons, taking control of her overactive mind. The sun is bright behind her, bringing clarity to her mind. She rises above negativity and embraces more powerful emotions like joy. She is intelligent and introspective, using her intuition to lead her. 🗡 The Flower of Thunder is a force and I need to remember that there is a part of me that is the same.
