♛ — Does your muse believe in luck ? What about fate ?
LUCK , sure. How Swift sees it -- there are zillions of ungovernable little factors that can MAKE OR BREAK any situation, and you just gotta HOPE that more of them line up than don’t. We are bounced around by the tides of fortune more than any of us would care to admit. He doesn’t think there’s any way to ‘ MAKE ’ good luck happen, aside from being EVER - READY to take advantage of the better turns & spin the worse ones as far in your favor as they can go.
FATE , eh. Swift doesn’t think we always get to CHOOSE where life picks us up & puts us down, but he's pretty damned sure that the paths are RANDOM , rather than predestined.
♙ — How hypocritical is your muse ? If they can be hypocritical, do they realise this about themselves ? How do they reconcile with it ?
It’s a FUNNY sort’ve hypocrisy. For any given situation, the arrow on Swift’s moral compass usually spins around a few times & lands in the most CONVENIENT direction. He knows this. He wears it on his sleeve. He claims not one iota of moral superiority. He STILL reserves the right to judge shitty people & the shitty things that they do. It’s not HARD to reconcile, given that his misanthropy is EASILY matched by his self - loathing.
♕ — What does leading a ‘good’ life mean to your muse ? Are they satisfied with the choices they make ?
To Swift, a ‘ good life ’ is one where you’re as FREE as possible to do what you want. He may not be PROUD of all his choices or LIKE where they’ve gotten him, but they were HIS . There’s PLENTY of satisfaction in that. Not QUITE enough satisfaction to lull him to sleep at night, but it’s gotta be close.
♝ — Is your muse concerned about being remembered after they die ? If so, do they have anything specific notions about what they want to be remembered for ?
In his more SENTIMENTAL moments, Swift DARES TO HOPE that after he’s shuffled off this mortal coil, some of the people he’s screwed over, bested, antagonized, tricked, or slighted will occasionally think of him & be overwhelmed by a FRESH burst of impotent rage, JUST for a second or two before his memory fades back into irrelevance.
. . . OTHERWISE , he doesn’t give a shit.
♡ — How would your muse define love ?
Sometimes as a liability, sometimes as a trap, sometimes as an absolutely SUBLIME fuckin’ high with the low to match.
