Monthly Favourites
So I've decided that, since I'm not the fastest reader out there and can't review books on a weekly basis, I'm going to start doing a sort of monthly favourites of 'books and things' so that I can at least post something on a regular basis. Each month I'm going to tell you my favourite book and film of the month and I'm also going to add an 'and things' favourite which will change from month to month. So here is July's favourite 'Books and things'
Books:
My favourite book this month has to be the book of my most recent(and first) review, The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. I re-read it this month because I was going to see the film and just fell in love with it all over again!(you can read my full opinion of the book in my review)
I've also started reading Game Of Thrones this month and am really enjoying it. But I will reserve all judgements until I've finished reading it, and will probably write a review of it.
Films:
My favourite film this month was my most recent cinema trip. This was to see TFIOS and it was amazing! It was such a good adaptation of the book, which is so difficult to do and still make it a good film. I felt as emotional watching the film as I did reading the book. There was only one thing I was disappointed in, which was(not to spoil anything too much) that they didn't go into that much detail about the swings, but I know that there are obviously issues with fitting a whole book into two hours and it wasn't a huge part of the book and it was brushed upon, I just would have liked it to have been longer because it was one of my favourite parts of the book. Apart from that I loved the film and it really did follow the book perfectly.
'And Things':
This months 'and things' section is going to be my favourite music of the month.
I've really been enjoying the debut album of George Ezra, Wanted on Voyage. I really love this album and have had it on non-stop for weeks! I think my favourite songs from the album are Budapest(I know its his first single from the album, but I really love this song), Barcelona, Cassy O', and a dozen others! I can't pick just one favourite, I love all of the songs! I definitely recommend you go and listen to it if you haven't already :)
Hey guys!
I've got a new blog post up. Feel free to go check it out!

Hey guys!
I've decided to move my blog on over to http://thehodgedotcom.blogspot.co.uk/ so you can find all of my old posts, and a brand new one, over there! Instead on here I'm going to start writing reviews of books 'and things'! I'm going to try and upload as regularly as possible... but I can only read so fast so posts might not be as regular here as they will be over on my other blog. I will keep you updated on that front, but for now why not head on over to http://thehodgedotcom.blogspot.co.uk/ to read my new post about my thoughts on the end of exams.
Enjoy!
