@theholylight As for Ichiko’s friend, it’s why I said comatose specifically in that sentence (tho cause the game is vague, she could be in a “catatonic state” instead, we aren’t really shown what happens to MS people but it sounds similar to the Apathy Syndrome State….which means they are comatose/catatonic….hard to tell which to classify it under). As for why should I care? I guess I shouldn’t care about Shiho, or the volleyball team, or Mada’s victims, or Kane’s victims, or Okumura’s victims right? Kamo/Mada/Kane/Oku obviously should get a pass cause we never see those NPCs either right because that’s what it sounds like? And who cares about the actual number? Is there a set number someone has to reach before they can be held accountable? We know at least a number of injured from the train accident (80), as well as a handful we can count if we dig (my playthrough I know his victims included the 80 injuries from the train, Okumura, Wakaba, Kobayakawa, Kayo/Ichiko’s friend, a Wild Duck Burger employee, the train conductor……there’s probably more but I’mma leave it at that for now cause I don’t want to go digging atm), is that enough? No? Then what’s the number that Goro needs to hit? Listen, Okumura is a piece of shit, but he had his heart changed and probably could’ve done some good with his change of heart (whatever it was, it is better than the shit show that happened cause Goro killed him). Kobayakawa is a piece of shit, but he was on his way to do some good for once and turn himself and some other confidants in (but Goro stopped that too). 

Wakaba…..So it’s the victim’s fault? Really? Technically, if Goro never approached Shido with his powers, she would’ve never died, because Shido wouldn’t have a way to take her out. Also Goro pulled the trigger, he could’ve not done that at any point when it came to all his victims, but he didn’t. Miss me with the “he’s trapped” BS, he’s the one with Superpowers in that relationship, he’s the one who can see into people’s hearts and minds at any point, he can be 100 steps ahead of Shido or any of his goons. Goro chose to get his revenge on Shido, and he didn’t care who got in his way. 

None of this absolves Shido from his own misdeeds, but it def doesn’t/shouldn’t absolve Goro. He has his own role to play in it, he made his own choices, he deserves to be brought to justice for what he did. He needs to own up to it.

Daisuke: Yeah, seems like in Haru’s world Digimon we know here are considered a game. Like how we are considered anime in Takato’s world.

Vee: Odd huh? Imagine how would’ve been everyone’s reaction if they learned we’re just anime or game.

Daisuke: … Vee, we already know and reacted at those. We were in shock, just like the shock reaction to see Takuya Spirit-Evolving in front of us.

“Hey.” He called out to her and saw her at the back of the classroom drilling holes into something, just like last time. Was she bored, perhaps? Hands in his pockets, he approached her, arching a brow. “Are you busy? Got archery club later? I was wondering if we could... hang out at the Strip Mall and grab a bite to eat. I... sorta forgot to eat lunch...” he muttered, averting his gaze in shame.
